613 Mitzvos, 613 visits, and June/13

Today is June 13, 2006 and I had 613 visits (as of early today) on this web-page. Most significantly, 613 is the number of mitzvos (Torah commandments). The purpose of this page is to increase awareness of some of these laws, as well as the Torah in general. One Torah thought on the date: When writing the secular date, one should try to refrain from writing the number of the month. There are a few reasons for this, including that there is a Torah mitzvah for one to count the months beginning from the Jewish month of Nissan.
